Current Traffic Impacts

Motorists are advised that there will be nightly lane closures on both I-95 southbound and northbound from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday). Project limits are from Exit 74 to exit 75.

Current Project Activities Include:

I-95 Exit 74 Southbound On/Off Ramp

  • Installation of fill material in areas of proposed on-ramp
  • Form and pour drainage headwall
  • Seeding of slopes and erosion control matting

I-95 Exit 74A Northbound On-Ramp

  • Fire hydrant extension

Frontage Road / Temporary Reuse Soil Area (TRSA)

  • Installation of temporary signal precast

  • Installation of bituminous curbing and driveway aprons

DOT Access Road

  • Installation of upper temporary earth retaining system (TERS) for temporary DOT access road
  • Installation of lower TERS for temporary DOT access road
  • Blasting at DOT access road
  • Rock excavation
  • Installation of temporary/permanent drainage
  • Excavation of existing roadway for wall W111
  • Relocation of IMS cabinet
  • Installation of soil nail TERS
