I-95 will always remain open, however there will be nighttime lane closures. Exit 74 and Exit 75 ramps will be detoured at certain times. Route 161 will have closures for critical operations.  All detours will be posted on our website.

All traffic impact information can be found on our website and other social media outlets. We will also send out press releases, when necessary, to alert the traveling public of any significant closures ahead of time. I-95 will not be significantly impacted during the daytime. All major construction activities will be performed during non-peak hours. There may be intermittent shoulder closures during the daytime hours.

All major impacts will happen during off-peak hours from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (nighttime). Extensive utility relocation work will happen during the daytime.

Claims for damages and/or personal injuries which occurred within the project limits, as a result of some action or inaction of the I-95 East Lyme Project Team, can be submitted by sending written notice that includes the claimant's contact information, a description of the accident given rise to the claim, and a description of damage/personal injuries suffered.
