Ledge blasting began on August 1, 2023. 

Below is an example of how the team will perform the traffic halt on I-95 Northbound and Southbound for the two (2) 15-minute highway closures between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

In an effort to move forward with construction, the ledge on the side of I-95 Northbound needs to be taken out. It will take time to blast these rocks and for the safety of the traveling public, the short closures will need to take place. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your commute. We encourage those traveling at this time to use the posted detours.
