Reminder: Reconstruction of Route 161 began last evening, Sunday, April 13th. This work will continue during the night-time hours this week (from Frontage Road to the entrance of Walgreens). Sections of the roadway will be gravel until grades are achieved and the area can be paved. Traveling on these gravel sections may cause traffic to move slower than usual. Blasting Update: Blasting canceled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4th. Blasting now planned for Wednesday, February 5th through Friday, February 7th, 2025, in the median of northbound and southbound (within the project limits).
