• Nighttime Closure of I-95 Northbound Exit 74 Entrance Ramp - June 29, 2023

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that, to facilitate construction work associated with the I-95 East Lyme project in East Lyme, Exit 74 on-ramp to I-95 Northbound will need to be closed.

  CLOSURE INFO

  The on-ramp to I-95 Northbound (at Exit 74) will be closed on Thursday, June 29, 2023, beginning at 8:00 p.m. and re-opening at 5:00 a.m. to allow for the installation of temporary illumination units on the temporary traffic barriers. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour.

  DETOUR

  To access I-95 Northbound, motorists should continue on Route 161 north (turns into Route 1), turn left on to Cross Road, turn left on to Waterford Parkway, and take entrance ramp to I-95 Northbound.
